The hike is a little bit strenuous, especially if you're inexperienced, but it's doable for most people - if you can climb 10 flights of stairs you can probably make it up. Be careful on the way down! The guide is helpful, as are the provided walking sticks. Unfortunately, whether you actually see the sunrise once you summit is up to luck and I wasn't lucky (it was very foggy, cloudy, and windy). But the view was ethereal as the fog/clouds were blown away by the morning wind. You can feel the warmth from the caldera at some points, which is definitely weird.…”
