“The travel company needs to check weather conditions and communication unsafe & dangerous weather to the clients ahead of the hike. I didn’t get to do 70% of the hike due to dangerous wind, rain and cloud. Very high chance of rockfall and we ran for our lives a couple of times (literally). The local people told us it was too dangerous to go up the valley and I missed the distillery experience as well. Better communication on the weather conditions and postponing the trip if there’s a full on storm is more ethical. I’d like a partial refund! My guide Leah was amazing but the conditions were too bad…”

The meal at the locals house was really good. My husband and I are vegetarian which was not a problem at all. They made the meal vegan. Absolutely amazing! We took a “bus” / local taxi with multiple people, which was very interesting, entertaining and gave insight into the culture and commutation. I recommend bringing hiking boots or some shoes with a good grip as some stones on the way down are slippery.”
